2025 Early Intervention Program

In support of the many families seeking support for their child who may have developmental delays or concerns, we are now offering an affordable small group Early Intervention Program.

The program is for children who do not yet have access to NDIS, run during school term for children aged 3-6yrs (6-8yrs to come). This program is designed to address key developmental skills and provide opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to assess and provide direction regarding the child’s development.

A formal letter will be provided at the end of the therapy block regarding key areas of concern, including any observations that may support your doctor or paediatrician to explore potential diagnosis. Where appropriate, this letter may address key diagnostic criteria.

What’s included:

  • 12 hours of therapy in a small group, in-clinic setting.
  • Therapist letter addressing key areas of concern, and where appropriate, how these relate to the diagnostic criteria.
  • Take home resource ideas to support your child’s development.
  • Breathing time for parents - during the 6 sessions, parents are welcome to go and get a coffee at the nearby café, unless specific safety concerns are identified.

How do you know this program is right for your child?

If you answer Yes to any of the following, then please get in touch with us to learn more about our Early Intervention Program and see how we can help.

  • Does it seem like your child isn’t as independent as you expect or compared to same age peers?
  • Does your child struggle with changes in routine or with transition between activities?
  • Does your child struggle with socialising with peers or seem overly anxious about typical activities?
  • Has your child’s teacher, treating clinician or family, raised concerns about your child’s development, or even referenced developmental delay?
  • Did your child struggle to meet some developmental milestones or achieve them atypically?
  • Do you feel like your child is more dependent on adults than other same age children?
  • Have people made you feel like your child has behavioural challenges?
  • Does your child seem very rigid in their ways or routines?
  • Does your child struggle with unexpected sounds, touch, certain textures, or other sensory experiences?
  • Do you struggle to get your child to engage in certain self-care tasks such as hair washing, brushing or cutting, toileting, bathing or getting dressed?
  • Do you feel like something isn’t quite right but can’t seem to find a service either willing or able to help?
  • You can also email admin and enquire; we may be able to chat through your concerns and help you identify if this may be right for your child.

Group therapy is a great way to make early intervention more affordable. Small groups give us the ability to provide accessible information and support for your child at a lower price by focusing on small group settings, which allows us to ensure every child is equally supported.

Individual sessions can cost $170–$250 per hour, but our full 12-hour program is just $890 – that’s only $74 an hour, half the price of one-on-one therapy!
